So 2k is going to make 2 games that will compete against themselves and Madden thus likely resulting in less money for themselves at the end of the day?

I remember when Madden re-upped their NFL agreement like 5 years or so ago, they also said they had multiple NFL titles in development. And everyone thought we were getting another Head Coach. All we got was Madden.

And Madden isn't in or will be in deep water. It will continue to sell millions, no matter how you feel about the programming. Even if 2K did an unlicensed sim game with just real players, it wouldn't sell. We've been over this a million times. If it would, it would have been done already after APF. Companies know what they are doing when it comes to knowing if a game will sell. It's not worth the risk for them. They know a non-sim game with the NFL license will sell because it has the NFL license. Without it, they would never risk it.

And now with college football coming back, that is even more sales EA would take away from any non-licensed 2K sim game.

APL didn't sell well because of lack of License it was lack of franchise mode was the reason
The world wasn't ready but now they on their knees praying for another football option and I'm not talking about Doug flutie look at the big hype years ago with the Joe Montana football situation Damon grow had so many followers looking at him like he Phill Spencer

I can guarantee all we're getting is something like NFL Playgrounds.

These kinds of posts are beyond ridiculous and setting up for whatever NFL game 2k puts out to end up a massive letdown/failure.

Yes we know 2k NFL game will be like playgrounds/street/battlegrounds

What we don't know if 2k other License with the NFLPA
Working on other like APF/Madden 64 games

That's the main question topic of discussion
