Official NBA Live 19 Impressions thread

Decided to give Live 19 another chance and used ThaLiveKing's sliders with some tweaks. These sliders can be found here:

I am now able to deal with the last update that ruined shooting jumpers. With some slider tweaks I can make jumpers and being patient I can move the ball to create better looks. Raising the 3pt success for the CPU encourages it to shoot more 3s, which is nice to see.


Played a game yesterday (Pro, 12 min, game speed at 88) with the Pistons on the road vs the Spurs. Aldridge was a beast inside and also shot some midrange J's. DeRozan was killing us from anywhere - 3s, midrange, inside, he was doing it all. Overall it was a great game and Griffin, Drummond and Jackson all had a strong game.

I'm starting to see why it is an overall better game than 18. My main issue, though, is that 18 felt more responsive and smother to control. Also Liked 18's graphics better. Setting contrast and brightness to High helps improve the lighting in 19 to some extent.

I might go and re-edit my rosters applying the same edits I've done in 18, so it plays even better.

I didn't bother with all the 2019-2020 roster updates until last night. So I finally let the game update (13 roster updates etc.), and even though I played with my edited 2019 roster file - the game played differently. Somehow it felt smoother, I thought I was seeing new animations and it felt somewhat like Live 18 - which I liked.

Was I just imagining this?
