Using 4 out 1 in with Freelance

Thanks to some help in another thread I've been able to use freelance to setup to my C (Shaq) is the only player inside the perimeter. I've done this by using 4 out 1 in.

Id like to fine tune this a little because it's not working exactly how I'd like. Shaq seems to go stand on the baseline about a meter from the key and doesn't even postup unless I give him the manual instruction to do so.

Is there anything I can set so I don't have to manually make him post up every play? I don't always want to play it to him in the post but I'd like him to make that an option, where he is standing makes a pass to him without posting up very risky, the opponent seems to Intercept it a fair bit. I want him to move around in the key and post up, ideally the side I move the ball to if he's on the far side, but I'll take anything at this point.

Is it a freelance thing I can set up? I've given his number 1 instruction as post up low but it doesn't seem to do anything. Is there a better version on freelance instead of 4 out 1 in that has him posting up but still the other 4 outside the key?

Try slice freelance. It’s also 4 - out & the post player is in better position. 4 out to me is for heavy perimeter centric teams & doesn’t involve the big man rarely outside of ball screens.
