Re: The 2K23 Post Game Thread

I'm loving how it seems like all moves are viable. I got oldass Jordan schooling the NBA in my Kobe era franchise.

In the game I just finished poor Rasheed got fooled so bad by a fake spin he took himself right out of the play. I wasn't even expecting that, I caught the pass and just quickly faked a baseline spin just to see how he would play me but Rasheed sold out on stopping the spin leaving me an open layup.

I don't know if its changed or I'm just noticing it more but the defender seems to react more naturally than years past.

EXACTLY... They changed the entire logic of the CPU defender. It started last year. With the triple Threat. For years it felt like the CPU was reading our inputs lol.

Yep. It seems as if the change they made for perimeter defense where they added something of a delay to make the AI more human like also affects post defense.

I feel like I can be Luka Jokic in the post this year depending on who I'm playing as. Back a guy down, hit with a pump fake, step back, knock it down, or step through lay in depending on what he's giving me. Or is they send a double team quickly kick it out for a shot or push it back to reset in the post and attack again.

Post-game has me feeling real good
It does. I got blocked a lot yest. Not a ton but more than I should have. Maybe once I get bully right. People can still block from behind but not as well out of your hands, and if you do get one it feels good.

Got dunk stick dunked on for the first time, yikes. Inside movement without the ball, protecting the ball, strength, box out… all is good. Lol our 7’3 guys w 70 vert and 90 str are a bit insane as my players, but dudes wanna put 99 stam. Good for offline but I’ve got 85 and I haven’t seen a Gatorade in rec for years.
