If anyone can help, I’m looking for some advice. I would like to purchase a new gaming console. I am only interested in NBA simulation games (for the most part), and am only interested in online franchise mode (or MyNBA or whatever they want to call it).
So.. what gaming platform should I buy? Keep in mind that while I’d love something that has the best gameplay, I am most interested in a platform that will best sustain online franchise/MyNBA mode gaming. Seems like there have been a TON of issues with that, so what console will I have the most success with? My biggest concern is all the reports of bugs with online franchise mode. (progression/regression problems, not being able to make trades, all kinds of settings being reset, etc)
I am up for purchasing the newest platforms, but I’m fine with an older platform if it has fewer online bugs. I have an xbox360 and have been playing the heck out of NBA2k18, which is the last version they gave us. It no longer has online gaming available. If it did I’d be fine with using this older console.
As an aside I will be looking to join a league as soon as I get the console, if folks know of a league or have suggestions on how to find one I’d appreciate it. I just broke my foot so have plenty of time the next month… however otherwise I’m a nurse, work 15 hour shifts and my workdays are different every week. So I may have to occasionally simulate games (or let my 11 year old nephew play and probably get toasted if that’s allowed), I know that may be a deal breaker in some leagues.

No one console offers an advantage compared to the other. They should both operate relatively similarly. So, your call.
