Smart decision, wish more fighters would do this. This would force weight cutting changes and the UFC could start cutting weight cut missers.

There definitely needs to be weight cutting changes. I think every fighter should notify the UFC throughout their fight camp about how much they weigh... that way either the UFC steps in to help, or they recognise they won’t make weight for the event so they get a replacement.

Or they could do it like ONE FC, I believe they are only allowed to cut a percentage of what they weigh.

I don’t think fighters should be cut, just forced to move up a division.. if they cut fighters who missed weight we would lose top contenders like Khabib, Lineker, Cejudo, Borg and Kelvin Gastelum.

Cejudo is still at 125. Using a hot bath to lose weight seems terrible.

Cejudo looks terrible at the weigh ins, it wont be long till he moves up.

I wouldn't cut them unless they do it more than 1 time.

Fighters aren't going to move up on their own. There are very little consequences for missing weight right now. These fighters probably get cut if they move up, so they aren't doing it on their own.

Until they are forced, nothing changes and fights get cancelled.

The Brazilian commission fined the fighters who missed weight 20% of their purse.

I feel like something seriously bad has to happen before there are changes like new weight classes, heavier fines, monitoring weight.

They did ban IVs... but after that they introduced the early weigh ins which I don’t think helps.

Fighters do get forced to move up. Whittaker, Gastelum, Hendricks, Lineker and Pettis were forced to move up.

They should have fighters do routine weight check ins throughout camp, that way they can sort out cards better etc

Re: UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Anders

Morales with 5 blatant fence grabs to improve position wtf.

Ref should've took a point.

Figueiredo has one of the worst fight IQs I have seen.. his last fight he kept going for guillotines irc. Still winning this one by wrestle****.
