No. Ramone said during the IGN interview that the real stadiums are a single large image file and can't be edited.

But that we could pull art from them and put it in our custom stadiums as the create a stadium developer made new image files from existing pieces of the real stadiums such as background buildings, etc.

in theory if each MLB stadium was deconstructed into Tony Lego pieces, it could be possible to recreate current MLB stadiums? Depends on how deep the options are

Ramone said it is shipping with 30 fully editable stadiums.

*editable generic stadiums. We aren't able to edit the MLB stadiums.

I think he was referring to how we don't know what "artifacts" from each stadium are actually available to use in the Stadium Creator, so we don't know how accurate we could recreate current MLB stadiums

If I remember right, didn't Ramone say that the stadiums were built as one large image file and that part of the challenge was breaking them into lego pieces for the stadium creator? Depending on how you read that, it could mean that the stadiums were (past tense) a single image but that now (through the lego break down process) they are no longer.

Therefore it may be possible to use an existing stadium as a starting point? Maybe?

They should have done a Feature Premiere just on the Stadium Creator.

It's all interpretation but I took that to mean that the 30 current stadiums are not editable, but all the various features in each stadium are able to be implemented in our custom stadiums. So, theoretically, people could rebuild Fenway Park and THEN go about customizing it to their heart's desire. We'll find out next week.
