CPU Roster Control - Import

I am trying to figure something out for a project I'm starting. I have a current franchise, and when I click on CPU Roster Control and select a team, it gives me an option to manage roster/import player. When I click on that and go into the manage roster screen; none of the players allow me to select 'import' as an option, just 'export'.

This is many, many years in the future; so, none of the players should be hard-coded guys; they are all CPU generated. Do you maybe have to be at a certain point in the season for that option to work, or did the designers mess up and put "import" in despite that not being possible. I tried at spring training and at the beginning of the off-season. I think it's probably just a mistake by the developers.

You can't import INTO an existing franchise, only export from. You import into a roster file outside of franchise mode.
