Pitchers should not be rated same as position players. RE 3 year player rated

K/9 is not correctly rated. Pitchers to go three years healthy is rare now, so I think their last season should have bigger weight. Luis Castillo K/9 should not be in 60s. Morton was top ten in K/9 for SP, 61 ? If you are double digit k9 you should be 80 minimum. You can’t rate a RP K per 9 to SP K9 imo

Umm, nothing to do with strikeouts ?

If it impacts how often batters swing and miss …. It impacts how often they strikeout, since not making contact with the ball is kind of part of striking out.

I think the K/9 is actually screwed up due to the DD roster. A lot of the top K guys are in the 70s because of it. I always change them based on the actual K/9 rankings and get more realistic K totals in franchise.
