Nothing yet on that just the new simulator idea. I think if they had that option they would have announced it.

Yeah, this has quickly moved to an on-sale purchase for me. I'm usually very optimistic but the updates to RTTS and Franchise are a joke. Also the "we'll be implementing updates with introducing new features" during the cycle sounds very EA like. I'm sure these new features will be advertised for '25 too..

I hope I'm proven wrong but WOOF!

Still haven't announced a newspaper or weekly updates in franchise recapping around the league. I was anticipating something like that for 4 years now

What is the purpose of creating a way to make franchise shorter when you can just sim games and quick manage to get to a point that you want to jump into? Just wondering if resources could have been put into other things.

Is it because it is easier to sim large stretches of time then jump in and complete more season?
Or maybe a way to lure more people into franchise mode? (Which would be a great thing)

They have "inside the show".

I think it’s to make it easier for people who want to get into franchise but also want to play a bit. In today’s game you’d have to pick the game to get into the moments. Some people just want to have it run for them and put them into those spots where they close out the 9th or have to get a big hit.

I actually thinks it’s a good thing and will get more people to try it out as long as they promote it as such. Can get through 10+ years of a franchise quickly. The more eyes on Franchise mode, the better for us that have been asking for changes for years.

Both, I think. The best thing about it IMO is the degree of control you have over the type of situations you get dumped into. You can play as much or as little of the games as you want. You could technically do the same with quick manage, but the micromanaging involved in all that simming might be more tedious than even trying to play out every game.

PS+ EXTRA free download if even then.

Franchise SIM is dead. Find your favorite iterations and play it forever. Card games are whats "now" and games will cater in that direction and forget realism.

Just have fun and play :)
