1. I did some roster editing. Because of the bug with QC (quick counts), which I have always used, made the move to playing every pitch. I LOVE IT.

One thing I noticed playing QC is that you miss out on a lot of stadium ambience/sounds.

I turned off the commentary and played thru my JBL sound system. Didn’t realize how many stadium sounds I missed drowned out by the commentary. SO WELL DONE!

The animations….Hit a no doubt home run, hard to explain, but after a violent swing the batter stood straight up knowing it was long gone, admired it for a moment.

Threw a nasty strike 3 breaking ball to the CPU batter. He knew it before it hit the catchers glove, put his head down, walked directly across home plate without a whimper.

So many more animations added.

I’m playing the PS5 version on a 65” Samsung QLED and the colors are stunning. The early evening lighting in Petco…..spot on, the sun setting in the west casting a bright light on the buildings and shadows onto the field.

It’s gonna be a great year for The Show.
Let’s go goose. Yellow and Brown

Say what you will about the graphics, I think what is just as important is how dated this lighting engine is. You could keep the assets & geometry exactly the same but bust off some “real-time global illumination with ray-tracing” and give a massive bump to the visuals. It’s the combo of the graphics AND lighting being stagnant for so many years that’s making it look stale. Upgrade the damn lighting engine already.

Yikes! I have the same issue, I just bought the game about an hour ago so I had no idea.

JM - I just watched a couple of you tubes and it looks like ‘zoom’ might be the answer.

Nice to know that even in 2023 Woody Keller still stinks as an umpire

I think this is the most polished mlb the show in years. Everything is just so buttery smooth.

I got it bringing him in to a tie game in the 9th when I selected schedule to put in game while he was warming up in the 8th. I also tried it bringing him in down 3-1 and didn’t get it

First impression. Game is still installing so it’s basically still the tech test. But, I play with auto base running and it is infuriating not knowing where your runners are. There’s no box while the ball is in play telling you where they are. If that’s by design someone had a serious brain fart.

Also why are they all wearing sunglasses indoors?
