I don’t see myself bumping up to legend anytime soon. Getting worked on HOF as it is. This is the first year I am using classic pitching and it is taking some getting used to.

I can understand that for sure. This year for myself I feel like either HOF or legend is fine for hitting. Really enjoying pitching on legend though.

Re: Rmiok222 MLB 24 Classic/Directional Legend Sliders

I'm playing on hof pitching and hitting. Everything default except cpu strike frequency at 4 and hum pitch control 4. I also have cpu and hum starting pitcher stamina at 6.

I played 10 games with default hof for me it was a little to easy. After I made these changes, it has been extremely challenging. Team stats look good. I'm sticking with these for now.

It's hard to believe these slight changes have made such a impact.

Oh yeah, I almost forget to mention the first 10 games i was using meter pitching. I since changed to classic. Classic pitching is definitely more realistic imo. Meter pitching is just too easy to master.

I followed everything but I changed cpu pitch consistently to 4 and left strike frequency at 5.

Never ever is the goal of my sets to have every game with a final score of 4-3 with 8 hits each team. That is not fun. So overreacting to a game or even 10-15 game stretch is just something I don’t do.

Luckily this years game and last years game is pretty straightforward so no massive changes are needed. Legend simply fits my play style. I love the grind. That being said here’s what I have as far as sliders. Subject to change but you can EASILY start a franchise with these. SDS did fantastic in my opinion so, kudos. At the end of this post I will mention reasoning for the sliders and if you have any questions, obviously just ask.

Reasoning: user contact needs a bump on legend. Even though we are using a directional, there IS a PCI. That being said we cannot see the PCI, and how good the hitter squared up the ball is based off his vision rating. Even though we are using directional, on legend the PCI is very small and it needed a boost. That is why user contact is at 6 and the CPU is at 5….they do not need a boost on legend.

Fielder speed and baserunner speed is at 4, that is because well….baserunners are just too fast. Fielders get to gappers too easy and doubles per game need a small uptick.

IF arm strength is at 4 to stay inline with baserunner speed. OF arm strength stays at 5 because triples are way too easy to come by every year.

Everything else is self explanatory Id say. Like I said in the opening though ask away with any questions and constructive criticism. Feedback is very welcomed. Also you can post your twitch link if you go live with these. I love to see how they play for others.

I'll finally get time to sit down later today. I agree with the changes made from my sample size. How's the CPU HR per game with 5 power this year?

Still struggling with pitching, but things are getting a little better…I hope.

Re: Rmiok222 MLB 24 Classic/Directional Legend Sliders

Two series played with these sliders and I am struggling offensively and defensively. Going to be a long season if I can’t be competitive against teams like the Royals and Pirates.

Not sure what the deal is as I’ve used your sliders the past two years, but I cannot pitch or hit with them this year.

Re: Rmiok222 MLB 24 Classic/Directional Legend Sliders

Starting to pitch better, but offense is once again nonexistent. Nick Pivetta looked like a Cy Young winning ace. I got a lot of really good pitches to hit, but can’t make any solid contact. And everything I hit sounds like a wiffle ball.

Starting to think the PCI is smaller on HOF this year.
