Gave these a go yesterday for a couple games and it felt really good. Admittedly I was quite skeptical to see the HUM control and consistency so low, but it actually felt alright, and was frustrating not being able to throw strikes at times.

Two things I am out to lunch on still, are injuries and SP stamina. I am thinking injuries (for me) may come down a click or possibly two--and SP stamina up to a 6.

Strider was gassed in the 5th on only like 70ish pitches.

Overall though, good feel and I look forward to playing more tonight!
Thanks for trying out our sliders. They are still work in progress. Glad you had a good couple of games. I think the control and consistency has to be down since we are on Allstar. It should sometimes have to be hard to throw strikes.

The stamina slider might have to be 7 or 8. I have always went by what someone said on year that they should tire at about 10 pitches over their stamina rating. Meaning a 82 stamina should be able to throw 92 pitches before tiring. At 5 or 6 you would see yellow at about 5 pitches under their rating. Stamina at 8 was about even with the rating. If you pitch with QC on you can throw 120 pitches before he gets in the yellow with stamina at 5.

We haven’t really tested or looked at injuries yet. I Abe always kind of did what Armor has always did and have injuries at 8 or 10. Last year we had it on 10 and we seen a good amount. They seemed to come in bunches.

We appreciate your feedback and hope you enjoy them. Let us know if you think something needs looked at.

I played a couple of games just earlier and tried control and consistency at 5/5 just to see how it went. I threw 70% first pitch strikes and 79% strikes overall. It's no fun for us, so that's why we don't even try it and lower it as soon as we begin testing things. We test it until we're seeing around a realistic 60-65% strikes and only way that's possible is lower them. Especially consistency.

Thanks for giving these a shot. We know we are way outside the box on a lot of stuff but we collect data and take it pretty seriously on what we want to see. We aren't adjusting stuff for no reason lol. I wish straight default worked OTB but it just doesn't. At least not for the playstyle we play.

Music to my ears. I am here for all the outside the box thinking. Carry on, and well done so far!

What we see using the sliders on the OP is the batting averages are a little too high. But it might settle down a little bit. Right now, we are testing something. I want to lock these down tonight.

I’m just ready to play and have fun. All week I have been staying up til 2:30 am playing and waking up wt 6:30 for work. I had a chance to play a little bit this afternoon. My wife and kid was gone so I took a longer lunch to go home and play. So we are working hard on this. Lol

I've only played the first moment with Satchel but the stories are incredible. The guy who tells the stories is awesome as well.

I have done like the first 5 Satchel Paige challenges.
Very educational and entertaining. I have also done the first 2 Hilton Smith moments also.

I will definitely be working on finishing all of them for every player.

I am also an A&S convert, I skipped the Show 21 and 22 because I was having so much fun with my Bacon Roster, A&S sliders in the Show 20. So far I'm enjoying what I've seen with 23 and love how in depth you guys get with your sliders. BTW have you abandoned quick counts at this point or are you still testing? I look forward to seeing the final results.

Thank you for checking our sliders out. We really do enjoy doing these sliders. And testing and tracking the stats. I track all the stats in my franchise and see how they play out. I know other slider makers don’t care about the stats and asl long as the game feels fun and competitive that is all that matters. But we want to make it feel like a true simulation to real life.

Funny story about quick counts. We are testing them on again. You have to lower stamina cause you’ll have a pitcher go 110-120 pitches before getting tired.

Have you seen good games with these sliders? Like I said Like I said in a previous post that the OP sliders we feel the CPU has too high batting average. So we are trying that. But are you guys noticing that?

Things that we are making sure of.

1. Pitching doesn't become too easy.
2. You are getting good hit distribution over multiple games. You should be seeing about 60-70% singles and 10-15% home runs. About 1.3 HR per game.
3. Our testing so far we aren’t seeing enough home runs. The ball isn’t carrying as much.

I've seen similar things with the sliders, haven't played a ton of games, but watched a few CPU v. CPU in the background if I don't have time to play.

I seem have have similar games as others, I've seen a lot of bloop hits (leading to higher averages) and a low amount of HR's. I totally agree that the ball doesn't seem to carry as much.

I've also noticed that when I don't use QC that pitchers are getting pulled too early, like in the 5th inning with like 70 pitches.

Thanks for all your hard work. I'm sure you'll get it dialed in.
