Trading Eli: franchise

I have a Giants CFM going but no way I’m trading Eli.

Not only because realistically they wouldn’t do that to him and it seems that they plan to let him finish out his career their, but also because he has little to no trade value unless you try to cheat the CPU but I’m not sure that would work this year. Trading seems to be harder, at least for trading for high level players.

He’s close to retirement making big money coming off a bad season. Not a very good combination when trying to trade a player. A contender would need to lose their starting QB to a long term injury and Eli would have to be playing well but the thing is if he’s playing well the Giants are likely contending for a postseason spot and in that case I don’t see how you would still want to trade him.

That’s really the only scenario where Eli has trade value, even then considering his age and salary you really aren’t going to get that much back.
