His blocking abilities were all very high also.
Guys a freak
Could you provide a screenshot? Sorry but it is hard to believe there is a rookie like that, not to mention that his rating should be 90+ easy with those stats instead of 85.

My 97 TE after a long 7-8 years training only has close to those, e.g. catching stats ~87, route 90, impact blocking 72, run/pass block 80, awareness 71... with 84 awareness, those catching and blocking stats, route running and release, it is quite impossible to have 85 overall rating...

Those stats are multiple A's in scouting

This. Not sure why people post these "rookies" without pics lol. Definitely not believable without pics.

Here's a comparable overall TE (not a rookie). So I wouldn't put much stock in his post. His guy would be a 99 out of the box.

Lol thanks Tmart... I know madden has a few anomalies but not that far off.

I am considering drafting a TE in the end of the first round 6'6" vertical scheme with a B in catching and spectacular catch with a B- in catch in traffic (i believe) 2nd round projection. What do you guys think im in for?

The guy I shared had similar ratings IIRC. Do you know his athletic traits yet?

Recently drafted a LOLB cover 2 linebacker in the 3rd or 4th rounds with 89 SPD, 89 ACL, and ~88 AGL. Mid 80s tackling and hit power about the same. Decent zone made for an easy switch to Strong Safety as I'm running a 3-4 defense and he had little pass rush skills. Been a stud in run support but he can't grab an INT to save his life.
