Madden 16 Bugs and Glitches Thread

Bug: freezing

Mode: Offline CFM

How: Was playing a game and made a big hit on a receiver who caught the ball coming across the middle and forced a fumble. Went to the instant replay to apreciated the nice hit my FS made. Started forwarding the replay up to the hit and fumble when the game took control and rewound the footage back to the snap. Was unable to press any buttons to do anything other than clicking the right stick in to hide/show the input key bar. Had to force quit the game in the xbox menu and reload the football game to finish.

Recreate: I'm sure I could because somebody else online had this exact issue when I did a simple Google search.

Drive Goal for scoring TD is completed, even though no TD was scored on play.

What mode did you experience the glitch/bug in?
Franchise, preseason

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
My backup running back was given a drive goal to score a rushing TD. He was pushed out of bounds at the goal line, and the game gave credit for the drive goal and granted the Exp and Confidence boost to the player, but the play was not ruled a TD on the field.

I believe that this glitch may be related to challenging the play. I would guess that the play was incorrectly ruled out of bounds, and a review would have overturned the ruling on the field. I did not review the play however because I was expecting it to be automatically reviewed.

This leads to a second bug report: shouldn't potential scoring plays be automatically reviewed by the booth?

How often has the bug been reproduced?
I have not reproduced this particular bug, but I have seen similar bugs involving challenges and drive goals. In one instance, I had an interception. The game went to the offensive play call screen, the drive goal updated to an offensive drive goal, and I selected an offensive play. When my offense broke the huddle, the CPU challenged the play, it was overturned to an incomplete pass, but the offensive drive goal was retained when I went back on defense.

Whats the bug? AI Defenders stutter stepping 3 yards before the CPU QB

What mode did you experience the glitch/bug in? CFM online

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Whenever my AI Defense ( every position) goes to sack the CPU QB, they stutter step and stop 3-5 yard before sacking the CPU QB. It happens all the time so yes I can

Players are invisible on the field.

Franchise, preseason

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
During preseason games, some players (usually reserves from deep in the depth chart) appear invisible in on-field play and cutscenes.

How often has the bug been reproduced?
Happened in almost every preseason game I played, but I haven't seen it happen in any regular season games despite making some substitutions. I believe the game has a limit to how many unique players it can display over the course of a single game (as if it runs out of memory to render additional players or something). Any players beyond that limit appear invisible, but can still interact.

Whats the bug?

Patriots OLB Jamie Collins has a huge, black hole on the front of his helmet in zoom view, post-patch.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

It always happens, even if I change his helmet.

How often has the bug been reproduced?

Always, every game, against any opponent.

Do you have video or a picture?

No since I don't know how to transfer a pic from in-game to my computer.

Update: The issue was the player likeness free DLC. Rex and the Equipment Guru have found the issue.

Screen flashes every time you switch positions in fantasy draft after the recent patch

Franchise, fantasy draft

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
switch the position you are viewing or use their new sort feature. Impossible not to recreate it.

How often has the bug been reproduced?
Literally every. Single. Time. It's gonna give me a seizure just to draft a team.

Whats the bug? Controller stops working in game, but works on the dashboard.

What mode did you experience the glitch/bug in? Online CFM

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? I am not sure why it happens, or what triggers it. I have not been able to specifically recreate it, but it has happened to multiple people.

How often has the bug been reproduced? Several times over the course of a few weeks.

Additional Information: I am not sure if this issue is specific to madden, but has happened in madden. I have found a potential temporary fix for it as well. sharing it here so that other's can see this.

Whats the bug? Injured players don't ever recover from injuries.

What mode did you experience the glitch/bug in? CFM

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Player got injured. Number of weeks never goes down.

How often has the bug been reproduced? At least twice within my first year of CFM.
