Bad snap or glitch

Looks like it could be both... the animation of the QB when he came down suggested he had the ball in his hands but then the post play activity has the camera locked on the Center as if tho he made a mistake and was looking for a reaction as the commentators talked about the mis cue.

I've never seen that botched snap before.

Definitely a glitch. EA has said that they do not have botched snaps in the game due to them not believing the average player would find enjoyment in it. The QB's behavior is also a pretty good tell that it was not supposed to play out that way. Given the reliance on animations in Madden, if EA were to ever introduce bad snaps, we can assume the QB would have an animation of failing to catch said snap instead of what happened in your clip where he was acting as if he had the ball for seconds before becoming free of the animation.

i had the same thing happen to me with flacco, i thought they finally added bad snaps, i guess not, that’s why they should add them, make long snappers relevant.
