Charter plays in AWFL which is the 32 man league I commish, so he's gone full in-house counsel on sliders nowadays.

I'm on board with 75 at least now.

Not sure what happened but as my rookie went from 76 into the low 80 everything got a bit too easy.

50 is playable, but not optimal.

One of the things that the higher threshold does besides creating a more realistic differential is to compensate for the still lacking AI defender awareness of their own speed vs the offensive player they're trying to cover or tackle. Currently pursuit angle and cushion still isn't as conservative as it should be in terms of being adequately wary of the offensive players speed advantage.
This is one of the few gripes I have with Madden, pursuit angles. I like threshold on 50 when it comes to straight line speed, the problem playing the CPU is they are easily avoided because they take such odd angles to try and tackle you.

75 helps with that and maybe 95 really helps. I'm going to try a game on 50, then 75 and then 95, touching only this slider on AM defaults.

After some games with M22 in a "test" CFM, I'm finding 50 to be quite good and pursuit angles seem much better than M21 was.

I need more games and will continue to test.

I have to agree with you - I tried 95 and it turns more specifically o-lineman and even d-lineman into super hero's I found. On run plays o-lineman are right on their blocks washing them out. On all madden with my run block at 10 and CPU tackle at 90 I broke for 2, 80 yard runs and had over 6ypc average on every game I played at 95. Dropped back to 50 and my ypc was around 4.2.

For madden 22 50 speed threshold seems really good so far to me at least.
