You're not wrong in that it would help, but I have two thoughts on that:

1) That would take a lot of time.
2) I highly recommend trying the game on modded PC and using Sabos Gameplay Patch. It changes the gameplay/sliders under the hood, and it's playing great.

There are many other tools that have changed the game incredibly well, and I'll never buy this game again on console. It's an utter waste of money when comparing the two, and that's not to say the console version is trash, just that the modded PC version is THAT much better.
