COLUMBUS, OH --- Blue Jackets are blown out by Flames 4-1. Really not much else to say about this game. Vladislav Kamenev scored his 2nd goal of the year during the 3rd period to atleast kill the shutout for the Flames but not much else was good.

Elvis Merzļikins stopped 31 of 35 for a .886 save percentage. His record moves to 0-4 on the season.

Torts said afterward that nothing appears to be working for the Jackets but he still has faith that they can change things around. The question is, will the fans have the patience to wait?

COLUMBUS, OH --- The Columbus Blue Jackets picked up their 4th win of the season against the Vegas Golden Knights tonight by a score of 4-2. The Jackets got out to a 3-0 at the end of 1 with goals from Zach Werenski (1), Alexandre Texier (2) and Nick Foligno (3).

The Jackets stretched the lead afer 2 periods to 4 with a goal by Cam Atkinson (8). The Golden Knights scratched back within 2 goals in the 3rd with goals by Valentin Zykov (4) and Mark Stone (2) but the Jackets were able to keep them from getting any closer.

Joonas Korpisalo stopped 30 of 32 for a .938 sv%. The Blue Jackets have tommorow off before traveling to take on the Arizona Coyotes.

GLENDALE, AZ --- It took overtime but the Jackets still lost. The Coyotes jumped out to the early lead at the 2:14 mark when Conor Garland netted his 7th of the season. Cam Atkinson (9) tied it up 14 minutes into the 2nd and Josh Anderson (3) put the Jackets up front to end the 1st.

Josh Ho Sung (3) stretched the lead to 3 2:30 into the 2nd period. Gustav Nyquist (5) put the Jackets back in front after the Coyetes tied it.

Unfortunately 3rd period was pretty much all Coyotes, as they scored 2 goals within first 4 minutes to tie it at 4. Jackets were able to jump back out in front when Zach Werenski got his 2nd of the season. Arizona wouldn't go quickly and tied it again 13:48 of the 3rd.

Derek Stepan got his 4th of the season 2:15 of the overtime period to get the win for the Coyotes.

Thanks. Had way too long of a break there between updates. Hope to get back on it and try and get a couple seasons in.
