GM Dunlop is on a roll, aquirijc all star defenseman Larry Allan from Carolina Hurricanes.
To facilitate the trade, Hamilton sent defensemen Matt Dumba & Torey Krug to Carolina.
Allan, a Carolina 1st round pick in 2019, has just 5 points in 14 games. But what stands out for him is his physical ability. Standing a whopping 6'9 and weighing 248 pounds, he's not the fastest skater but he makes up for it with physicality and an extremely hard slap shot.
