It was a gamble I think was worth taking for me. I have a few prospect RW's that are maybe 2-3 years away. I think Connolly is a year away from making a bigger impact. The bottom line is I want to keep Toews and Kane.

Well I guess the Leafs are on Santa's naughty list because the last 20 games were horrible. Only squeezing out 5 wins in the last 20, the Leafs slip to 11th place in the East and have a massive ladder to climb if they have a hope in hell of making the playoffs.

Current record of 16-21-3.
They sit 5th in GF (126), 27th in GA (3.33), 5th in PP (21), 21st on PK (80).
