It was Mikko's first quality game in a while, and the whole teem was overjoyed.


Riley Holzapfel was especially happy.


“Atta boy, Meeks!” he yelled as the team swamped Mikko at the end of the game.


Mikko laughed as his team pounded him on the back, arm, and head, until Martin Siddell came up to him.


“Good job, Meeks. Sorry about my mistake,” Siddell said, thumping him on the helmet.


“No worry,” said Mikko. Martin smiled, and punched Mikko in the back once more, as the victorious Chicago Wolvses made their way off the ice. On the way out, Mikko was told he was the second star of the game. Mikko did his usual routine, throwing the pucks as high and far as he could, and trying to energize the crowd to his best efforts. He skated off the ice, giddy from the great performance. He hadn't remembered playing a game that had required him to make so many spectacular glove saves!

When he got back into the locker room, the team all stopped and applauded him, and he waved and sat down in his usual seat, scooting Aina over, forcing her to bring a folding chair over to sit with him.


She kissed him, and the whole team grew quiet once again.


Then, all of a sudden, a voice said, “Hey, you! Kissy-face!”


The voice launched a towel at them, and Mikko swiped it away, looking for the culprit, only to find a butt naked Brett Sterling getting ready to shower. The towel was soaked with perspiration, and one or two stray “hairs” that were too curly to have come from his head.


The pair got up, and wiped the sweat off of them as best they could, Mikko cursing in Finnish, and Aina staying silent, wearing this humored, yet scandalized look on her face.

Brett pointed an authoritive finger at the two of them as if they were school children. “Next time I catch you two making out in my locker room, you're getting detention.”




Someone chipped in and said, “And what's detention, Stirry?”


Sterling wore a smirk on his face, and said, “Something that's going to be coming up soon, anyways....rookie initiation. And I expect the star rookie of the team to partake enthusiastically in these so-called 'events'.”


Everybody laughed, even Aina, who realized that the butt naked Brett Sterling was her cue to leave the locker room. She scurried out, and everyone laughed, and Joe Crabb high fived Mikko with a dirty look on his face.


“Yeahhhhh,” said Crabb when him and Mikko were finished.


Mikko laughed again, and went in the showers, where an “angry” Brett Sterling awaited him with a towel, ready to use as a whip for Mikko's punishment.
