OILERS FINISH PRESEASON 2-6, TAVARES TO START SEASON IN EDMONTON

Edmonton's first preseason under GM Larry George went as expected, with few W's. The team won two of it's first three games, the lost 5 straight.

#1 overall pick John Tavares will start the season in Edmonton, although he could end up in junior if the Oilers feel he will be better off there.
