Now for two stupid questions:

1) Is that the first time this show billed a deceased character in the opening montage?

2) If a suspension bridge is split into two, wouldn't the whole thing just fall into the water, or would it actually still stay upright? (I legitimately don't know)

I'm pretty sure the bridge would stay up if the middle was blown out. The suspensions are holding up the ends more than anything.

At least I think that's how it works.

Only if the cables snapped. If the cables where still there it could still stand. The road part may drop off though.

I didn't like this one that much. Too much cheesy stuff. Definitely more of a bridge episode. Kind of a waste to have the "surprise" in this episode.
