I just started watching the show on TBS and its surprisingly good and funny

My Name is Earl was just canceled today, confirmed by Ethan Supple. Sucks to see it go and makes no sense to me as they were in talks previously and now this. Apparently the producers are shopping it to ABC and Fox in hopes of saving it but as of now its done and over with.

I liked the show at first, but then the list thing got old IMO and the show wasn't as funny. It had it's moments, but the novelty wore off for me.

Yeah it had worn off. I guess NBC needs a spot for Parks.

Yeah, it got old. I haven't seen an episode since December, they are still all on the DVR.

Parks, what a waste of time that show is, imo of course. What I read was a lot of these cancellations were primarily due to Leno getting the 10:00-11:00 time slot Monday-Friday causing a pinch for time thus forcing them to cancel shows. Maybe Fox picks it up, although it sounds like Im alone in my liking of the show.

I think the show originally was brilliant then something happened to the chemistry/writing and I went from loving it to didn't miss it. As stated by someone else before, somewhere in the prison sequence I just gave up.

I was talking about this with my wife tonight, and she was saying that it is canceled for now, but Fox is already talking about picking it up. It was a Fox production anyway, and the ratings were still there, but when shows enter their 4th season, production costs go up, so a lot of shows tend to be dropped, and then picked up by bigger networks if they still are getting regular viewers.
