Absolutely horrible. Lance Reddick earlier this year.

This isn't right.

He was my favorite character on Brooklyn Nine-Nine; heard great things about his lead role on Homicide: Life On The Street; going to try and find where I can watch.

I used to love Homicide, Life on the street. But that is awful. First Detective Munch (Richard Belzer) in January, now bookend it in December with Braugher. Terrible.

Frank Pembleton was the standout character on "Homicide", and Braugher was great in everything he was in. Really sad to hear this news.

99 is one of my all time favorite shows and it's because of this man. His role as Captain Holt is one of the best and will not be matched. He was an amazing actor. RIP Andre. You will be missed.

I know of him more than I know probably some of his bigger roles.

If you were to ask me three roles I remember him most by, it would be in the later seasons of House, The Mist, and Glory. But still, he's the kind of guy who seemed to pop up anywhere, and if he wasn't stealing a scene he was certainly elevating it.

His death kind of makes me recognize the fragility of life for some reason. I find 61 to be so youthful, as my father was approaching that age when he passed unexpectedly. You see individuals who are so vivacious on screen, and wonder how time gets us all.

May he rest in peace. Perhaps I'll go watch Poseidon later.
