Blast from the Past - My Top 20 WE 9 goals

When I played Winning Eleven 9 on the Xbox back in 2006 and early 2007, I could only capture videos using a digital camera with the quality being poor at best. Last month I finally got around to buying the PC version of PES 5, converting my 700+ Xbox goals with Compulsion's Save Converter, and then picking out the best ones for a couple of videos.

So this six minute video is of my top 20 PES 5 goals... that weren't scored with Manchester United. I scored a lot of my best goals in my Man United Master League, and they'll have to go in their own video.

Some great goals here Feanor. I especially like the Di Stefano goal but no. 1 is definitely worth the wait

Yup, they were all scored on the Xbox version of WE 9, but using a PSOne control pad and a Dreambox converter.

That's a great goal. PES 5/WE 9 definitely had the most spectacular free kicks .

Good stuff, for sure. Man do I miss the WE6-9 era. I wish that I had kept my PS2 just for that game rather than trading it in towards a 360. My buddy and I had so many legendary head-to-head battles and incredible goals. My best memory still is when it took me three consecutive penalty saves by him before I realized he was watching my hands as I shot...

ditto.. I remember WE6FE was the first time I ever imported a game before from Japan and it was well worth it. Probably one of my best times I have ever had in sports gaming.. that and the old NHL days on the genesis.

Wow, those were fantastic. Well worth watching for six minutes. The free kick goal was my favourite.
