This Offline gaming set up is definitely one of the best ones Ive ever tried for the EA NHL franchise, hell for all hockey games period. Because not only does it provide realistic sliders but also edited rosters.

The edited rosters are not only for team roster accuracy/aesthetics, but more importantly, these rosters were edited for cpu ai TENDENCIES.

One example was the player Passing rating. It was reduced for dmen to fix the cpu's overpassing tendencies and actually make them shoot more.

Another thing were the xfactors were edited, to make it harder to create great scoring chances.

I know NHL 23 doesnt have the reputation of the classics, but it's a COMPLETELY different experience with these edits found here.

At the same time, thanks a million for being there in all of this, so many great observations on the gameplay 👍😀 Yes it was a great balancing act on the passing game to name just one area, lol ! Finding that perfect sweet spot where the AI wouldn’t play ping pong 🏓 too much and the way they would carry the puck intelligently without getting caught like a deer in headlights 😉

That was just one of the area where I felt we could have done better, and we did it 😀

The rosters on PS5 and XBOX next Gen and all of this Setup is for NHL23.

There will be a roster update this week for the next Gen XBOX 😀

I know that GetThePuckOut has been really busy lately, so not sure about the PS5 side of things, but the update will contain the latest moves from a few teams, and a couple of new goalie gears will make it in there as well 😀 As you may also know by now, a few different skating styles for a couple of players…
