could you not do like a expansion draft on paper and then add the players later on... My Question is if say you do paper draft and you move the players to the create teams would it be double the players?

Re: Custom league

Well, I definitely could do it, I guess. It would be time consuming, but it can be done. I assume that if you select a player for your custom team roster in creation zone, he will be duplicated. But if you just move him in roster editing, he won't. But I'm not 100% sure about it.

Re: Custom league

Ok, another setup for a custom league. Without custom teams this time. Basically, just a realignment proposal.

32 teams, 2 conferences, 4 divisions each (8 divisions total). Each team plays 82 games schedule: 6 games against every divisional opponent (18 in total), 4 games against every other opponent in its conference (48 in total), 1 game against every other team in other conference (16 in total).

8 teams from each conference make playoffs (4 division winners + 4 wild cards with best record). Teams are seeded 1-8 based on conference standings, division winners receive 1-4 seeds (reseeded after each round).

I tried to preserve historical rivalries as much as possible.

Western conference:
Northwestern division:
Vancouver Canucks
Seattle Kraken
Edmonton Oilers
Calgary Flames

Southeastern division:
Anaheim Ducks
San Jose Sharks
Los Angeles Kings
Vegas Golden Knights

Central division:
Arizona Coyotes
Colorado Avalanche
Dallas Stars
Winnipeg Jets

Midwestern division:
Minnesota Wild
Detroit Red Wings (sorry Wings, I know you don't want back to the West, but my league - my rules)
Chicago Blackhawks
Saint Louis Blues

Eastern conference:
Northeastern division:
Toronto Maple Leafs
Montreal Canadiens
Ottawa Senators
Buffalo Sabres (may as well be Bruins)

Atlantic division:
New York Rangers
New York Islanders
New Jersey Devils
Boston Bruins (may as well be Sabres)

Metropolitan division:
Pittsburgh Penguins
Philadelphia Flyers
Columbus Blue Jackets
Washington Capitals

Southeastern division:
Carolina Hurricanes
Nashville Predators
Tampa Bay Lightning
Florida Panthers

Let me now your opinion on this, what would you change? I know, Central division is terrible (really spread out across half of North America), but there's no way to avoid it.
