So from the sounds of it, Twitter is saying Ramjagsingh is off as lead developer and there are some folks from the old 2K days there now?

One of the guys was from NHL Hitz Pro, which was arguably one of the better hockey games produced from a gameplay and physics perspective (which is kind of shocking but if you go back and play it and ignore the hitz gimmick stuff, it’s a solid hockey game).

Also they finally did address Online Franchise/GM Connected for those that care. It’s not in for 24 because they want to totally redo it, but they are trying to get it back in at some point. It makes sense because as fun as GM Connected could’ve been, the UI and scheduling were absolutely brutal and the reason why most people stopped playing it to begin with.

Plus with needing to code it into the new game will take awhile I’d assume since it’s a brand new mode they are adding. Glad to see they addressed it for the part of the games players that have been asking for it to show it’s not totally gone on deaf ears.

Nicholas Shewchuk used to work on the 2K Hockey Game and he is currently a designer at EA. Wonder if he moved over to the NHL side?

I don't even care for an online franchise, just give me the ability to invite my buddy to a party and play co-op in an offline franchise. Unreal that this isn't a thing yet!

He worked on HUT last time I talked to him. Been awhile though.

Been wanting this for years. This game plays at its best in a coop mode but not with randos and cheap imitations of AI.
