Contracts and current team prospects are not added. Therefore, Be A GM will not be accurate and cause the game's trade logic, along with other items, to do some silly things.

testing out season mode (and be a Gm despite being told otherwise) with the leafs, there are players that are from the default rosters that are showing up on the marlies team like aberg, etc. that haven't played since 2020.

tested it out playing as the marlies team in a season and there are no added players there. it makes me wonder if there are other players being added that should not be there as well. does anyone know why this is happening??

using a converted PS3 save from the xbox rosters, unsure if this also happens on xbox. does anyone else have this issue?

This happens because of how contracts are set in NHLview- the program used for editing rosters.

I haven’t touched any contract information so:
A. You’ll see old players with contracts set to a team on the nhl or AHL squad
B. With no contract info entered, those players will enter the FA pool or sign with other teams in those modes.

It’s the nature of the beast 736 nhl players, 736 ahl players (minimum) total of 1,472 contracts to edit with correct cap hit for the era of the game. Plus going through older players, removing contracts from them and older prospects- too rich for my blood and limited time. Not being rude, just giving you the simple math for one person to do, on top of editing and player creating/ratings

Will you be creating a deadline roster as well?

Not a problem! I'm glad there is a roster available.

As far as a trade deadline, I do plan on releasing one.
