I think i will be testing cpu passing speed 42.

On higher pass speed you can't defend cpu at all you can just hope they miss a shoot its just cheese.

That game vs city(dont know if you remember but i had a different aproach to buildup and passing buildup my settings for city would be like that BU 20 Pass 80 on your settings their are still too perfect and dont use long ball at all.)


Also found a solution to that agressive play after you receive the ball cpu just rush at you like crazy.

It's about pressure slider i lowered it to 40 and it was gone.

Dont know how to set it up with aggression slider tho.

Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)

Late contest on laups matter too much.

Random blocks doing pumpfakes.

Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.

Ok. I will change the lower limit for BU passing to 66 to try to increase long balls.

Pressure slider sets the location on the field where players start to pressure. Some teams are set to pressure higher, but maybe I will lower the upper limit so values can decrease.

Aggression sets the defenders tackle frequency (vs contain), but unfortunately the higher values apparently don't increase fouls.

Some thoughts after todays test:

- it looks like some teams (BPL? more?) have a "formatted" gameplay you can not overrun with CTTs. For example, you can set Arsenal with BU speed and passing to 100 and they will continue to play slow short BU without any long balls, or set Man City with pressure and aggression 1 and they will continue to pressure high and hard...
- the other non-formatted teams react to CTTs changes but only to some amount. For example, setting BU speed and passing to 100 only will make CPU perform a small % of long balls. The majority of the game will continue to be short passing and low direct passing. And of the small % of long balls only a minimal fraction will be dangerous to defenders...
- pass speed don't appear to affect long balls speed (like stated by EA)
- pass speed affect ground passes, mainly in the initial fase of the pass; with pass speed 100 a simple touch results the same as going full bar

Any suggestion for a new lower setting for User/CPU pass speed? Don't wan't to see players always waiting for the ball (too low). A pass with full bar needs to go pass the intended receiver or to be very hard to connect.

Just say I'm counting on you in 18!. Well, we do not agree on everything but I respect your way of seeing football. And if Krebstar stops then there's only you and me in here (have I overlooked someone?, shout up - just hear my echo!.-) I do not believe that many teams for Team ID will be some top teams, but I believe in 18's game play and if it's good I can live with what we have or a little improvement.
