Sliders not saving?

Sliders and setting return to default every time I turn the PS5 off.

I have saved them both in the main menu and within Career mode, yet they always go back to 50 upon firing up the PS5. Same for controller settings.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm having an issue where I boot the game up and it acts like it's the first time, asking me for difficulty settings etc.
I get into game and all sliders have reset to default.
It doesn't happen every time but maybe every 3/4 times I boot the game up and it's a pain in the ***.

Yes, same here.
Out of interest did you download the game with EA Play, i.e. 3 days early?
That's what I did and it is giving me these issues. Wondering if I should reinstall it...

So I uninstalled and installed the game again.

I went in from afresh and changed all setting, saved the profile and switched off the PS5.

Booted up again and the new settings had saved. So I thought - job done.

This morning booted up again and bang - again it took me to the initial set up menus (as if initialising the game for the first time) and the settings were back to default. Strangely, the career progress was saved thought.

So weird and frustrating!

None of this happens on my PS4. Sliders and other settings all pretty much save fine now my profile is saved. I also don’t close my PS4 down when I’m done. I leave it in rest mode over night or when at work. I restart logged off from the servers and only rejoin to get updates (lol).

FIFA Trainer keeps switching from hide (my setting) to show. But none of the trainer stuff actually shows! Laughable.

Maybe there's some problem with your web sync data? I'm playing on PS5 and it works correctly for me..
