Can someone please explain in FC 24 how Domestic and International Prestige affects your Managed Career?

I am going to start managing Liverpool from the Uruguay Primera División. They have International Prestige of 2 and Domestic Prestige of 8.

That means you better do well in your league or risk getting sacked. You have more leeway in the continental competition(s).

Guess I am just trying to understand which each one means since one is low at 2 and the other is higher at 8. I am assuming you want higher.
