College Football Playoff Selection Committee

So, I want your input helping me sort out the College Football Playoff for this season in my dynasty!

The post can be found in the dynasties section here: https://forums.operationsports.com/f...&postcount=259

Read that post to get the full overview of each team's case and look at their schedules. I would've presented it blind, beat really there is no reason to do that because no one can look at things truly blind, even the real life CFP committee.

Basically the two decisions come down to what is the order of the top 3 seeds (3 unbeaten P5 champs), and who should get the 4th seed among the four possible contenders!

I'll link the polls in here for you guys to click on, but the resumes can be found in the post on the dynasties forum! Would love to hear from you guys as I love have a "selection committee" help me to make decisions!

I think you put up a link for the wrong page for your dynasty post. The resumes are on the last page, while the link provided is somewhere around week 9, I believe.

Interesting... when I click on it it takes me right to the resume post, but we may have our post per page numbers set to a different amount or something that could be the issue! I have 10 posts per page. Either way, thanks for the heads up and I changed the link to just the specific post only, not the whole thread.

Pitt. UCLA's resume wasn't good. If Notre Dame has a loss and they're independent, they aren't getting in. That loss was to another contender anyway so they lose that head-to-head battle.

Ohio State's loss is to a lower ranked team and by a bigger margin. Pitt's lowest "ranked" win (14) is higher than OSU's highest ranked win (16)

Yep. Based on the season results, this is what it should be.

Thanks Arrow, Toxic, and Geezy! It seems like Arrow's Final 4 is the pretty hefty majority. I appreciate the comments though, it's just so much fun to build your own little world and then get others feedback to create a selection committee. Can't beat how much fun NCAA 14 is still bringing even in 2019!

Re: College Football Playoff Selection Committee

Eight team playoff! Take all comers! Battle it out on the field.

Nah but really:

Based on strength of schedule and performance against it, I'd say #1 LSU, #2 OU, #3 UW

I'd take Pitt as #4. I thought OSU had more ranked wins but then I looked over the schedule.

Side note: what the hell happened to USC in this dynasty?
