There should be a slight delay when you hit the pitch button as the pitch animation has to run. With no delay (Due to animation) it would look like the pitch was just shooting from the QB.

Generally, intercepted pitches are pretty much from bad judgment, my issue is when a pitch will just fly to a defender, I've seen them fly through a defenders back into their hands. The same also applies to the halfback or whoever is receiving the pitch, the ball will just some how find it's way to them, and then right into their hands.

It happened to me one time in the demo when playing with Oklahoma, but like everybody else has said, it happened because the defender played it perfectly and I shouldn't have pitched it.

Theres 2 aspects of this game that I wish would be minimized, or cut completely. And that is the ability to:

A)Pitch at insanely ridiculous times. i.e. being tackled, mid-break tackle animation, etc.
B)Juke, spin, or 'truck' out of tackles.

The fact that I can pitch while going down is absurd. And with THAT much wrist action. The option was so nice las gen. And I long for it so badly. I miss the way the quarterback carried, pitched, and ran. The "ride out the fake" on read options are fantastic. But that's about the only aspect of the option that I can truly appreciate this gen.

Quarterbacks in real life never pitch the ball when there is a defender clearly between him and the runningback, so it's tough to decide what should happen based of real life situations since quarterbacks rarely make those poor of pitches.

Saw it happen in Ohio state high school football playoffs, haha. The defender wasn't exactly between them but, I just wanted to say it happened and it was awesome.
