Anybody Not Going Next-Gen This Year? Why?

I'm most excited about EA Sports UFC, next-gen The Show, and a next-gen golf game. So I'm going to wait until the spring to get a PS4, since I'm not overhyped about any of the launch sports games. I might get Madden, FIFA, or Live next year, but I'll probably pass this year. I've heard FIFA is pretty awesome, but I'll give the other two an extra year to improve things.

As bluengold mentioned its out in Australia on the 29th. Its a little annoying we have to wait 2 weeks (especially since we get the Xbox One same day as US) but ultimately I don't mind.

As tempting as NBA 2K14 is im still holding out, can't afford it moving out of state early January. Plus I only have a 22"in HD LCD TV right now (sold my 60" plasma to save money for the move) and I don't even want to play a new console on that small of a TV.

Once we get down there we are purchasing another car, a new bedroom and living room suit so I really don't see myself getting a new big screen TV and a next-gen console til spring-summer 2014.

That's cool cause by then Ill know which console is better between PS4 and the XboxONE, also Ill know more about the Steambox in which I may just end up getting that instead.

Maybe the hype wasnt on the same level as the 360 and ps3 hype was? Then again time flew by this year

There are TONS of great PS3 games I have not had a chance to play yet. I'd like to get to those before I move on to a new system.

For some reason, there is just no excitement for me right now. I just picked up a Wii U and it kind of reminds me of why I played games in the first place, to have fun with them. Now it just seems to be a competition about who can have the biggest gamerscore or the most trophies
