PS5 and 4K HDMI Switcher
I'm trying to connect my PS5 through a 4K HDMI switcher (I also have a PC, Nintendo Switch, PS3, and Xbox 360) to a 1080p 60hz monitor. If I connect the PS5 directly to the monitor via HDMI it recognizes it and works perfectly. However, if I connect the PS5 to the switcher, it won't display, as it probably thinks it's a 4K signal, and thus not compatible. The thing of it is, it'll still work with the Nintendo Switch.
I did try manually setting the PS5 to 1080p, but that still didn't work. Is there any other setting I could fiddle with to get it working? I'd rather not have to keep on unplugging the HDMI cord, that's how you cause damage.
I'll have a pretty sweet setup if this works, with all my modern games going to the monitor, with a CRT next to it for all my classic games.
