has anyone had the #1 recruiting class i have had a top ten but never #1

and also has anyone ever been coach of the year, last season i was 33-2 and won the national championship with fresno st. and was ranked #1 for over half the season but unc coach was coach of the year.......just wondering what it takes to get this

I have had the number 1 recruiting class a couple times. Pretty much just get at least 3 hs all americans and have them be mr basketball too and u will get it most likely. As for coach of the year. I won that once, i dont remember my record but it happend in the same year that i won the national championship so im not sure what other qualifications you need to get it. I did have more than 2 losses though.
