Would love to believe that the media and Alabama fans would turn on Saban, but we know that's not happening. And they will control the narrative. He's not leaving unless he wants to. Media too busy calling him "Sir" or "Coach."

Not because of the media. I was thinking his own conscience.

Auburn just lost like 15 yards on a 4th and 2. Well done.

Justin Fields cannot come out of this game soon enough.

So, do UGA fans hate Fromm again?

Re: Week 12 Discussion

I dont understand the the outrage for Saban right now. It was a freak injury, it's unfortunate but they happen in sports. It isnt anyone's fault.
Tua should have not been playing at all based on prior injury? He was medically cleared, and he wanted to play. Playing hurt is part of the game. Unless the expectation is to wait until guys are always 100% before going back in the game then there isnt any fault here.
Tua should have been out of the game at that point? Maybe. Yeah the game was well in hand. There were like 4 minutes left in the 2nd quarter when that drive started though. I mean...at a certain point you just have to accept that guys are are out there to play the game and you cant put them in bubble wrap

Separately. Terrible situation in the georgia Auburn game. Ga player ran out of bounds and ends up running over a young woman photographer before he could stop. Seems like she was knocked out cold for a few minutes and is currently being taken off in a stretcher.

That’s the first thing I thought of when they said he hurt his hip.

Hoping it turns out to not be that bad.

Yes it was a freak injury, but did his limited mobility cause it to happen? I would say yes.

Playing hurt is part of football, but playing early for an injury that takes longer to heal in a game that they win no matter who is playing is not smart. Saban should have said you aren't playing, I don't care what you say or the doctors say. They didn't need him to win that game. Saban also showed he didn't care about his future by letting him play. He should have protected his future for a meaningless game.
