Re: College Football Off Topic

I was in State College on July 21st, the night before they took down the Paterno statue. I didn't get a picture because I was there for the Spikes game and not Penn St. Everybody knows what it looked like, but here is a reference from Google Maps street view. (first pic)

I woke up the next morning to hear that they took the statue down. No word on whether the stones and plaques were taken down. I was up in State College again to watch the Spikes again on August 1st. Just over a week later, the second pic shows what is now outside of Beaver Stadium.

They did a great job of covering up the area for the untrained eye. It fooled me.

Can the NCAA please hand out whatever punishment it is going to give Oregon already? It's been 17 months since this investigation started. I know the Penn State thing happened, but just get it over with.

There are rumblings that the NCAA has determined they have and there is some kind of punishment in the offing.

I was assured by many Oregon fans that there were no wrong doings...............Is this connected to Lache and James recruitments with the guy in Texas?
