Since I live in good 'ol Raleigh, I had to suffer through the FSU-NC St game. Had to 'watch' the UConn game via ESPN. Dominating performance. Thoroughly trashed a very good Oklahoma team. Got my tix for next week's UNC game. Can't wait for the Huskies to avenge last year's defeat!

We'll see. Both UConn and UNC are much better than they were last year. Should be a heck of a game. I'm hoping to be there, as long as I can afford the tickets.

Can't really look ahead to it yet though, Carolina's got two games before then that are more important.

We didn't steal Villanueva, you guys shot yourself in the foot when you let Self get away from you. That's why he bailed on Illinios.

PS: I hope you enjoyed his 3 trey's today.

Yeah, I'm sure Ron Guenther just let him get away. Villanueva didn't want to come to Illinois because of Self anyway.

Really?? All the CT newspapers said he changed his mind cause of the coaching change.

Just relaying what I heard.

He said he didn't want to follow Self to KU. The real reason that he was going to come to Illinois is because of Norm Roberts who is now an assistant at Kansas, so I guess you could say that he didn't come because of the coaching change.

True true. And I can't start talking some trash yet cause I'm gonna be pulling for UNC big time tonight against G-Tech.

Then it's on, hehe.

Dominating performance. I expect Uconn to win, but not by that much. Were still a little sloppy at times, but overall not much to complain about. Good start to this tough stretch of games coming up.

Boy, he's awful, isn't he? I'd rather put up with Dickie V. than have to stomach Packer.

Packer is a total idiot who hates Connecticut. I'll never forget the '99 title game when every single comment that came out of his mouth was anti-UConn. Every time they did something positive it was out of luck. Everytime they had lead, he said "Don't worry though, Duke is too powerful and will pull away soon enough." Every time Duke did something bad it was a fluke that they hadn't done all season. It was a joke.

Holy sh%t! I just saw Jim Ross (Good ole' JR) from the WWE sitting behind the OU bench.

He's a huge Oklahoma fan (especially football).

I guess since the WWE headquarters are in Connecticut and the game was in Hartford, he decided to make an appearance.

You have got to be kidding me ... *braces for JR impersonations Rd 2*

Good gawd almighty! Good gawd almighty! Oklahoma is getting beat by UConn in a slobberknocker, King! You bastards!!!! You bastaaaaaaaards!!!
