Re: 2012 Big East Tournament Discussion

UConn played well, but down the stretch had no idea what they were doing. Like ehh said, when Shabazz blew that 2 on 1 I knew we were in trouble, real turning point.

No idea what to expect from them in the tourney. I think there's been a real optimistic feeling around here based on the last few days that maybe they are capable of making a run. That said, beating Depaul, winning a close game against WVU, and giving Syracuse a scare are all things they did in the regular season. Still waiting for that real impressive moment.

A couple of BS calls aside Louisville was able to keep it together and push it to a 10 point lead at the half. The hi lighter red uniforms are hard on the eyes but as long as they play well and win they can wear them every game as far as I'm concerned.

Tough loss for my Hoyas. Missed free throws cost us at the end of regulation but Sims & Porter hit some big time shots late. I still cant believe Otto didnt make the 1st team all-freshman squad. His bball IQ & effort are off the charts

Re: 2012 Big East Tournament Discussion

Jesus, this game is too reminiscint of pretty much every home game we played last year. Team comes in shooting like crap, and then they hit absolutely everything against us. Ordinarily I'd point out how unlikely it is that they shoot this well the 2nd half too, but I remember this happening in almost every game last year so I know it's possible...

Too many times Syracuse comes out flat. Truth about playing em zone, forcing them to shoot. Waiters though speak of the devil. Or whatever.

This has just been a weird game. Waiters is like our worst shooter out of all our guards and he's keeping us in it with his shooting. Cinci was killing it from 3 while Gates was struggling big time. No fouls at all in the first half pretty much.

God this game is just pissing me off so much. It just seems like every little thing is going Cinci's way all game. And now Gates is knocking down free throws like they're nothing for him. For the love of god.

Edit: And jesus... 2 goaltends that they got away with now, maybe 3.

Edit x2: Good god these refs are killing me.
