Miami has missed the tournament. They made the tournament every year from 1973 to 2016. Their streak of 44 years has ended. What.

That list should say 'automatic bid winners' The PAC and Big West do not have tournaments. That's some weird East coast thing...

I try not to be optimistic in general so I have no expectations and no disappointment but as gaudy as the 49-4 record is, our SOS is pitiful. I'm not that optimistic. Hard to deduct much from a series with Abilene Christian, but the pitching was not great, Beavs had no business winning Friday night. And it was Thompson who gave up 4 runs to AC, not even Fehmel who hasn't had a good game since like February. I'll already be holding my breath in the supers. Won both with Nebraska back in Surprise the second weekend of the season, so not too thrilled to see a team that already knows the pitchers.
