My DC Jim Johnson is the main reason why. He has all the defensive special skills, and you can see it on the field. I've been seeing a lot of defensive TDs, and it's been turning competitive games into blowouts. I'll also mention Performance is very powerful in this game. My HC has it at 5, OC at 4, DC at 5, and all the position coaches have it at least 3. I might consider adjusting the sliders after the season to make things harder. I lost last season in the 1st playoff game, so I want to see how I do in the playoffs before I make any changes. I'm currently using Ebongreen's most recent slider set.
I had a competitive divison game in this one. The scoring pretty much ended after the 1st quarter, so it was good I got out to a 21-7 lead. The Vikings pass rush did a good job of disrupting my passing game, and also a good job of keeping me out of the end zone. A Vasher INT TD was critical to me winning this one. It didn't help that Bironas missed 3 FG attempts. I beat the Vikings 27-9. I'll face the Eagles next. It's amazing to me that the Eagles have gone 0-10 since they lost in the conference game. I suppose they do miss Andy Reid and Jim Johnson.
Coach upgrades-RBC-Speed Training. DT Duane Russel has recovered from his injury, and will play in the Eagles game.

The Eagles always give me fits, no matter their record. I had to make a strong push at the end to pull this one out. One of the big factors in the game was McNabb being injured and missing most of the 2nd Half except the last drive. Another one was McFadden's 52 yd TD run with 2 minutes left in the game. I beat the Eagles 25-14. Nathan Vasher was named Defensive Player of the Week. Campbell notched his 10th sack and Vasher his 15th INT.

Re-signings-I resigned QB Corey Webb to Offer 3- 6 year, 24.8 million dollar deal, 4 million signing bonus-no incentives. I changed my QB Philosophy to Field General-his overall potential is 73/95 and made him the starting QB.
Announced retirements-Ravens MLB Ray Lewis and Eagles WR Issac Bruce announced their retirements after the 2010 season.
So sadly I'm going to have to end this dynasty. I had finally gotten enough points to max out OC Jim Caldwell developmental skills and buy the skill Leadership, which would enable me to take advantage of maxing out all the dev skills. I found out the Superb Strategist skill will increase all ranks for subordinate coaches by 1, thus wasting my purchase of Leadership. I'll need to make sure all coaches have Strategy at Level 2 next time around, though.
This is really good please don't end it. (Just finish it like that for the season but next season do it with level 2.)
I've still got the save, so I may pick it up at some point. I was really disappointed when I found out that Superb Strategist would add a extra level to all skills. It would have been far better to use that skill to add 1 potential level, then use Leadership to max it out.
