Fight Night Round 4 (Should I download patch)

For single player "fight now" matches was FNr4 better pre or post patch? Any additional input would be appreciated. To be honest I just don't remember.

Thanks,

Sausage

I remember it being better post patch, but I also had to make some adjustments to sliders to get the game playing to my liking. Turning down accuracy a lot, turn up damage a lot are the 2 main things I remember doing.

Thanks Visualizer, I played several matches pre/post and enjoyed the differences post patch. I went back to the settings I used and surprised I still enjoy the game.

Take care

I stuck with FN4 as my boxing game. After reading the forums here on FNC and now with another patch I am glad I never caved in for this game. It seems overwhelmingly like most people are disgusted with FNC.

FN4 is still a great game IMO.

I really enjoyed FNC before any updates and tuners. Afterwards they have turned the game into trash from my single player point of view (eliminated 1 punch ko, damage, and basically the fun). The whiny bunch as I call em' on the EA forums really pushed the developers to ruin the game and they obliged.

So if I pick this game up in the discount bin after the summer (I am waiting for it to be under 20 bucks at a minimum) just do not DL any tuners or patches and it should be good to go and better than FN4? I do play legacy mode and love to use created classic boxers from the EA share. I also play fight now matches, setting up dream fights and historical fights.

Thanks Sausage.

Thanks Sausage.
To fully enjoy the game it has to be played without your profile. When you play with your profiled signed off, you can not save your progress. Therefore, no legacy mode or story mode unfortunately. I believe the sliders have been tuned, so you may still be able to get damage where you want. If I buy it again today I will let you know.
