Roy is super fun to use. The selection in this second beta is great and they all feel different.

Great stuff, Pappy.
Do you notice a difference between your opponents as well?
Will they display different styles as well?

I'm seeing a nice mix of opponent styles, but people have generally tried to fight me based on the strengths of their fighters. I've yet to have anyone overwhelm me with pressure like 90% of people would attempt to do in Fight Night. The movement is great, so it's much more difficult to corner your opponent in Undisputed. In addition to that, you will pay for your mistakes. I've seen a lot of rocks and quick fights due to getting overly aggressive.

For example, I just fought against a Usyk with Marciano and got dropped within the the first 8 seconds of the fight. My opponent got overconfident after that and got KO'd two rounds later.

I also had it happen to me on the other end where I was teeing off on this guy for 7 rounds and wanted to get pretty with a finish. To my surprise and excitement, I got knocked out with a stiff straight charging in.

I've had about 20 fights since yesterday, so I'm starting to feel more comfortable with everything now. When everyone really dials in with the controls and mechanics these fights are going to be great to watch. Undisputed has so much potential and it keeps getting better.

A few more things:

1. The knockdown system is pretty sweet. I much prefer it to Fight Night

2. They added a training area to this beta that teaches you the controls. Short, sweet, and helpful.

3. The refs in this game are crooked like in real boxing. Some of these scores are wild.PXL_20221210_004629813.MP.jpg

Awesome stuff, thank-you Pappy!
Can you expand on the knockdown mechanics?
And is there a possibility that you run into an iron-chinned fighter like George Chivalo who is impossible to knockdown?

Re: Second Undisputed Multiplayer Beta Announced

Punches seem to have more pop this beta but that should be expected with upper weight classes. Movement also feels more sluggish but that should also be expected with the upper weight classes.

Issues I've run into with this beta
  • Inside fighting is non-existent in this beta.
  • Spamming jabs and straights is way too forgiving. Backing up and spamming power modifier jabs guarantees easy stun windows.
  • The stun window mechanic is terrible, for some reason the stunned fighter moves quicker making them impossible to hit when they're back peddling. When you stun somebody and they have more than half a health bar, there is no point in even trying to chase them down, you won't be able to.
  • Flash knockdowns are extremely rare.
