News Forecast
With NHL 10 just around the corner, people are packing up their NHL 09 BAPs and dynasties.
This includes Scott Quickel, which lasted 2 seasons of great perfomances, drama and a gigantic leap from Columbus to Tampa Bay.
Also, one of the most popular BAPs around, DT's "In A New Minute" met it's end after 2 seasons of great perfomances from players, and the evolution of Derrick Thomas and the New York Rangers, in a story where a hockey player, abandoned by his parents at birth, gets his way through the death of his foster father and meeting his biological father. A very great ending, with Derrick and his girlfriend Katie having a baby of their own and Derrick finally barrying the hatchet with his father, Emmit Thomas.
Another, possibly the best BAP of all time, The Karelian Keeper. Which gave the creator, shinderhizzle, the permanent nickname, Meeks. The goaltender got it's way through 2 (I actually believe 3) seasons. Mikko had to go through the death of his wife, Aina, who died after the birth of their son Andre. Mikko soon met the traigc end at the hands of their former nanny. It ends with Patrick Kane taking their son Andre to his own NHL draft, where he's drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks, the former team of Mikko.
Some dynasties that ended this year were DT's Red Wings, that lasted 3 seasons.
rdnk's Senators that lasted 3-4 seasons
Bolts_26's Bolts, which lasted around 3 seasons
And of course, my Winnipeg Blazers, thast lasted 4 seasons.
We also welcome some new users, like Gibbey, rocknrolla and kessthemess.

hey man, you're the first person who's arena I've actually checked out. I mean I've gone to a few ppl's homepage of their arena, but you're my first, hehe!
Anyways, I know this is kinda old, but thanks for referring to my BAP as "possibly the best BAP of all time." It really means a lot to me, especially because you were there, rooting me on and supporting me, right from the beginning. You're like my mom....only you're not fat and ugly :D |
