PG - Jameer Nelson

Chicago, IL - Chicago Bulls have now gotten off to a 4-0 start to the season. Big thing is they are having a good start without Derrick Rose. The Bulls, are being led by veterans Carlos Boozer, and Luol Deng. The two combined for 42 points in tonights win over the new look Orlando Magic.

Orlando seemed to be lost offensively with no real go-to guy. They were led in scoring by sixth man J.J Redick whom scored 15 points. Dwight Howard's replacement Glen Davis scored 10 points, and grabbed eight rebounds in the loss.

Despite all the drama from a season ago Orland still finds themselves with a winning record at 2-1 on the season.

Chicago, got a big game out of Rip Hamilton whom is having a very good start to the season. The, Bulls will need his scoring if they hope to make a playoff run.

One big stat for the night Chicago had 34 assist, which is a huge number for any team.

Chicago has its first real test in their next game as they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in Chicago.

Thunder hand Bulls first loss of season.
Durant & Kevin Martin lead Thunder to victory in Chicago.

- 84
(4-0)
PG - Kirk Hinrich
SG - Richard Hamilton
SF - Luol Deng
PF - Carlos Boozer
C - Joakim Noah

- 97
(3-1)
PG - Russell Westbrook
SG - Kevin Martin
SF - Kevin Durant
PF - Serge Ibaka
C - Kendrick Perkins

Chicago, IL - Western conference champion, Oklahoma City Thunder visited Chicago tonight to take on the undefeated Bulls. However, it would be Kevin Durant and the Thunder that would be the victors of tonights matchup. Chicago just didn't seem to get enough scoring from their star players. Despite Russell Westbrook struggling throughout the game the Thunder would manage to win 97-84.

Bulls have been a nightmare for teams defensively thus far this season, could seem to get the cool off the hot shooting offense of the Thunder. Kevin Durant got help from Jeremy Lamb, who scored 21 points off the bench. And Kevin Martin whom also scored 21. Martin came over from Houston in a trade for James Harden, seems to have made the Thunder even more of a potent balanced attacking basketball team.

Bulls got bad games from Carlos Boozer, and Kirk Hinrich in what was the biggest game of the season thus far. Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come against playoff teams for the Bulls this season.

The loss wasn't the only bad news coming out of Chicago. Derrick Rose, return will be pushed back until after the All-Star break, and Richard Hamilton suffered a twisted ankle in the game which will hamper him for about a week or two. It is unknown at this time if Tom Thibodeau will opt to sit him for a game, to let it heal.

Notable Performances
Stat of The Night: 4 points off 12 turnovers forced
(CHI) C Joakim Noah - 21pts, 6reb
(CHI) SF Luol Deng - 18pts, 8reb, 4ast
(CHI) SG Richard Hamilton - 12pts

Stat of the Night: 27 Fastbreak Points

(OKC) SG Kevin Martin - 21pts, 8reb, 5ast
(OKC) SG Jeremy Lamb - 21pts, 2stls

Portland, OR. --- After making an unexpected early return Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls traveled to Portland to take on the struggling Portland Trail Blazers. Rose led the team in scoring for the second consecutive game, by scoring 23 points. 21 of his 23 points all came in the second half. Chicago managed to pull off the victory despite a poor shooting night from Luol Deng whom finished with seven points on 3-11 shooting.
